In remote areas of Pakistan (Specially in Tharparkar, Sindh), many families travel long distances to collect clean water. Thara Welfare Trust works to bring water closer through wells, tube wells, hand pumps and water coolers.

Thara has initiated a Rikshaw Rozgar Sheme, providing a FREE Rikshaw to empower the poor and needy with a gift of mobility and to use it to earn a living.
